Job Description
Logistics Manager Weapons and Tactics Alliance Group 194 Mill Street, Rochester, NY 14614 Weapons and Tactics Alliance Group, Inc is seeking a Program Manager at our Rochester, NY location. The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the coordination, documentation, and execution of all shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities, while also supporting general office functions. This role ensures smooth logistics operations, regulatory compliance (including ITAR and military standards), and a well-maintained office environment, contributing to the efficiency and professionalism of company operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Shipping & Receiving Operations Coordinate and track all incoming and outgoing shipments, including government-furnished equipment (GFE), RMA returns, and contract deliverables Ensure chain-of-custody and documentation integrity for sensitive items Maintain a secure, auditable repository for shipping records and package tracking Prepare and manage WAG traveler documentation for receiving, layout, and shipping per contract or program standards Inventory & Asset Management Maintain real-time accountability for inventory, including: Controlled equipment Resale or project-specific stock Loaner items and serialized assets Support internal inventory audits and assist with government property reporting when required Regulatory & Contractual Compliance Ensure compliance with ITAR, military standards, and relevant shipping/export regulations Maintain organized records for QA/QC, customs, and internal documentation Support quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing materials Resolve issues related to delays, damage, or missing items Vendor & Carrier Oversight Manage vendor and carrier relationships, including coordination of freight and express service accounts (FedEx, Freight Center, RXO, etc.) Evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement Systems, Reporting & Documentation Generate compliance reports and logistics summaries for internal and contract reporting Utilize logistics software or internal systems for tracking and reporting shipments, inventory, and KPIs Provide regular status updates, friction points and logistics-related metrics to leadership Coordinate with internal teams (security, operations, finance) on material tracking Kitting & Assembly Reviews customer-specific build sheets and identify required components across multiple vendors Pull, organize, and assemble components into complete kits or products per order specifications Conduct quality checks to ensure kit accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer standards Provide labels and document assembled products for accurate tracking Cross-Functional Support Support internal teams by aligning logistics support with business needs Collaborate on equipment movements and documentation for internal/external transfers Office Operations Support Manage general office operations as needed, including: Issuing employee badges Preparing welcome packets Maintaining office supplies (e.g., water, coffee, etc.) Coordinate general facility maintenance and service requests
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in procurement software.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to assess cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Organization & Time Management:
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as needed.
Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the Government, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Attention to

Strong attention to detail, ensuring all orders, contracts, and documentation are accurate and complete. Ability to Obtain a
US Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with US DOD or other Government customers Logistics, asset management, or office operations experience Working knowledge of ITAR, DFARS, or government property management preferred The salary range for this role is $55,000 – 85,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience.
