Department & Logistics Manager Reports To:

JLC Director / General Manager We are not just looking for someone to manage our Pool Division, we want a coach, a system builder, a logistics expert and a customer experience enthusiast. At Josh Landscape Co. we are expanding our new pool division and need a Pool Department & Logistics manager who thrives in a fast-moving environment, leading people, improving systems/procedures and delivering exceptional client experiences every day. Position Overview The Oasis Pools Department & Logistics Manager is an experienced professional overseeing the production of pool projects and service. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely production of all construction and service projects. You will lead, coordinate and coach a growing team of pool installers & service technicians to achieve annual revenue and margin goals while ensuring customer satisfaction at every touch point. You will ensure that company resources and assets are efficiently used and will play a crucial role in ensuring the cost-effective and timely delivery of products and materials. Essential Responsibilities 1. Lead and coach a Field Operations Manager, and Pool Service technicians 2. Manage daily project and service schedules, project/service efficiency and quality. 3.

Client Communication:

Be the main point of contact for all pool construction and service clients during the production process. 4.

Internal Communication:

Collaborate with sales and other production leads for seamless client experience. 5. Analyze data to improve systems, reduce waste and increase performance. 6.

Logistics management:

Coordinate the purchase, delivery, use, and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment verifying all resources are utilized efficiently, are properly tracked, inventoried and allocated to the proper projects. 7.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and company safety policies. Conduct routine safety inspections and manage on-site safety and proper use of safety equipment and PPE. 8. Submitting and securing all necessary permits and inspections required for construction 9. Utilize company operating system & processes, to maintain accurate records of project progress, material usage, labor hours, and any deviations from project plans 10. Handles jobsite start/stop including connecting with the client, jobsite photos, time tracking, yard signs and door hangers informing clients of what services were performed. 11. Other Responsibilities outside normal job description for this position a. Help with snow removal during the winter months if requested. b. Organization of department tools and storage areas Knowledge and experience

  • This position requires a 4-year degree with preferably 7+ years of experience in a construction, or landscape company or related field with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
Logistic Skills:

Proven experience coordinating multiple suppliers, sub-contractor partners.

  • Tech savvy with ability to utilize CRM and reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on precision and quality, with an eye for aesthetic finishes that meet luxury standards.
Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to manage, motivate, and train a team with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, while adapting to the culture, standards and practices of the company.

    BONUS:

    Has strong understanding of pool installation methods, equipment, chemical balance, and field safety. Certifications

    • Required – Class A NYS Driver’s License Work Environments
    • This position is primarily and office and management role. Occasionally, while performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop or kneel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move 10-20lbs.
    • Specific vision abilities are dictated by NYS Driver’s license requirements.

    Job Type:
    Full-time Pay:

    $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
