Job Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment Experience in inventory management, receiving, or a related logistical role Experience with purchase order processing and vendor communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), data entry, and report generation. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload Excellent written/oral communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to move and lift up to 70 lbs
Key Responsibilities:
Generate, process, and track purchase orders and requisitions Ensure timely delivery of ordered items Maintain accurate inventory levels of operational supplies or purchased items/goods Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality Verify delivery against purchase orders and packing slips. Organize, deliver, and store received items in designated locations. Resolve any discrepancies or damages with vendors. Provide support to the rooms division, including filing, data entry, report generation, and with other projects as needed Maintain up to date records regarding all SDS information for all chemicals used by the housekeeping department Accurately track and record employee time and attendance Monitor and report attendance discrepancies Generate time and attendance reports for payroll processing Training and onboarding new team members on purchase order system, inventory, and rooms procedures
