Job Description
Develop data-driven forecasts, optimize procurement and logistics, streamline reporting with automation, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive profitable sales, reduce aged inventory, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Analyze historical data to develop accurate projections, optimizing procurement and logistics, collaborating cross-functionally with sales and operations teams, and leveraging automation to improve efficiency. Develop demand forecasts, optimize inventory flow, and implement process improvements. Automate reporting, collaborate on new product launches, manage shipping logistics, and train team members to enhance efficiency, reduce aged inventory, and drive profitable sales. Utilize methodologies in quality control, logistics, inventory control, business law, financial decisions, productions plans, stochastic optimization, forecasting and demand, marketing management, and project management in the performance of job duties; Monitor the performance of suppliers, assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements in adherence with agreed upon terms to reduce company risk and liability; Monitor and control the order processes, ensuring efficient and adequate flow of goods and consumables both internally and externally; Achieve financial supply chain objectives by working with management group to prepare the materials budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions, as requested by management; Represent the Supply Chain function within the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP); Train and onboard other planners and coordinators on tasks such as building projections, planning shipping container space, and identifying fill risks for inventory. Collaborate closely with Sales to facilitate successful launches of new customer products, manage pipeline orders, coordinate promotional events, and strategically address aged inventory movement. Serve as the SME for brands within the employee’s portfolio during bi-weekly Sales & Inventory Team meetings, and conduct brand reviews bi-weekly for the team.
Develop automated reporting systems, reducing time spent on identifying low inventory items and tracking open purchase orders within a database and prepare an inventory management. Engage with the IT team to develop streamlined tools that simplified the shipment process. Consistently drive operational enhancements by providing insightful recommendations, including optimizing initial buy setups for new items and refining artwork transition ordering timing. Manage both inbound and outbound inventory streams, ensuring optimal health through meticulous forecasting, procurement strategies, and proactive measures to eliminate non-performing inventory.
