Our products focus on wireless power, wireless communications (Bluetooth, NFC, RFID, etc.), and bi-stable e-paper displays. We are seeking eager and hardworking candidates to join our expanding and close-knit team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Overview:

Powercast is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, multifaceted Supply Chain Manager to join our team in our office in Pittsburgh, PA. The primary objective of the position is to manage supply, manufacturing, and quality of key high-volume product lines (1M+ per year). The position is open to growth into a more senior position.

Duties:

Identifying gaps between customer forecasts and supply chain capabilities Defining actions to close gaps and monitor the execution of the action plan Purchasing – obtain competitive quotes from vendors Defining and improving resilient supply chain processes and methodologies across the organization Evaluating supplier performance based on agreements Evaluating new suppliers and managing audits and quotes Perform quote analysis and comparison with existing pricing structures Establishing performance metrics for measurement, comparison and evaluation of safety, quality, delivery cost and inventory factors affecting the supply chain Developing, implementing, and monitoring corrective actions where necessary Developing and implementing processes and procedures to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery and inventory Identifying optimal shipment and transportation modes

Professional Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers Strong supervisory and leadership skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Thorough understanding of company products and logistics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
