Job Overview:
As a Sample and Materials Manager, you will be responsible for managing biological samples, materials management and associated documentation, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols. Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity of study materials and supporting the success of our laboratory operations
Primary Responsibilities:
Receive all sponsor samples (test articles, biological samples, etc.) and review documentation against shipment for accuracy Be proficient in and utilize Watson LIMS for sample receipt and accession for regulated bioanalytical studies. Be proficient in and utilize sample/compound management software for sample, compound and reagent management for non-regulated studies Collaborate with lab leads, study directors, project managers and designated stakeholders to ensure that the materials received are appropriately received, logged, stored and distributed for use. Draft and review standard operating procedures governing sample and compound management. Work in collaboration with the shipping department to ensure proper shipping conditions for shipments to other sites and sponsors. Mentoring and organizing the work schedules of up to 2 additional sample management personnel. Co-ordinate procurement and delivery of materials as needed for operational needs.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail , a strong understanding of sample control , and advanced Excel skills . The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
