Leadership Supply Chain Management Full Job Description Overview:

The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible to oversee and optimize our inventory counting process from receipt of materials to finished product. This role ensures inventory accuracy and availability of materials to support production and minimize cost and meet customer demand. The manager will lead the inventory team, standardize inventory control procedures, enforce best practices and drive performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as required by the department needs. Inventory Accuracy Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory audits of the Production floor. Maintain accurate inventory records in Macola, ERP system. Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished product to maintain accurate levels of inventory.

Inventory Processes and Efficiency:

Create and document SOPs for inventory control. Standardize processes using lean methods to reduce waste. Support 5S and visual inventory management on the production floor. Use data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement efforts. Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations and standards.

Organization and Data Management:

Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption, and turnover for management review. Identify inventory discrepancies through data review and implement corrective actions.

Leadership and Management of Team:

Lead and supervise inventory control team to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient processes Train staff on procedures and systems while educating them on best practices Provide developmental and constructive feedback while addressing performance issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement, logistics, finance and production teams to maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer expectations for on-time delivery. Document and report discrepancies and damaged materials immediately.

Requirements:
Education :

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, logistics or equivalent work experience.

Experience :

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory management, preferably manufacturing.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communications skills. Experience leading and mentoring a team Strong mathematical aptitude
