This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless supply chain process. The Receiving Manager will also be instrumental in implementing best practices for warehouse management and fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the receiving department to ensure efficiency and accuracy Manage, train, and evaluate receiving staff to foster a high-performance culture Develop and implement strategies for improving receiving processes and efficiency Ensure accurate recording of incoming shipments and maintain inventory levels Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate shipping schedules Establish and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment Prepare reports on receiving metrics and performance for upper management review Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management Experience with inventory management systems Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field 5+ years of experience in receiving or warehouse management Experience with project management methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software Skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in inventory management systems and software Ability to analyze and improve workflow processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations Benefits Medical Dental Vision
