This role involves managing shipping schedules, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, optimizing shipping processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, have a deep understanding of shipping operations, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional service and efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day shipping operations and processes to ensure efficiency Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to optimize shipping schedules Develop and implement strategic initiatives to reduce shipping costs Monitor shipping performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations Train and mentor staff on best practices and operational standards Collaborate with other departments to align shipping strategies with overall company goals Reports to shipping manager Minimum Requirements 5+ years of experience in a shipping or logistics operations role Proven track record of managing teams effectively Experience with shipping software and technology Bachelors degree or years of experience Preferred Requirements Experience with international shipping regulations and practices Bilingual – Spanish 3+ years of leadership experience Supply Chain Certification Skills Strong knowledge of shipping and logistics processes Excellent leadership and team management skills Proficient in supply chain management software and tools Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to analyze and optimize shipping costs and processes Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in shipping Department and team management Benefits Medical Dental Vision
