Responsibilities:
Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus Analyze data to anticipate future needs Control budget of the shipping department Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met Supervise both the Inventory Control Specialist and the
Inventory Clerks Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Ensure shipping documents are properly filed SAP and MP2 software systems Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory Analyze data to anticipate future needs Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods Solid knowledge of supply chain management Excellent data entry skills Experience preparing and tracking orders Must have knowledge of semi-truck load shipping terms Must be focused and own inventory, quality, 5S Excellent verbal and written communication skills Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
