Inventory and Receiving Manager Brownswood Nursery, Inc. – Johns Island, SC Full-Time 5 days a week M-F (Some Saturdays or Sundays maybe required) Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love keeping things organized, and enjoy working outdoors? Brownswood Nursery, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory and Receiving Manager to join our dynamic team! As the Inventory and Receiving Manager, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and organization of our plant inventory, ensuring smooth deliveries, and supporting our sales and garden center operations. Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect plant deliveries to ensure top-quality retail standards. Accurately count and document incoming plant materials. Pull and stage plant material for sales orders and work orders, updating systems accordingly. Coordinate tagging and placement of plants on the sales floor. Work closely with the Garden Center team to manage overflow and restocking. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and make system adjustments as needed. Remove unsellable plants from inventory and the sales floor. Support administrative tasks, including receiving POs and updating the item management system. Print and maintain accurate plant tags and location information.

What We’re Looking For:

A positive, self-starting team player who values collaboration and follow-through. Strong integrity and a reliable work ethic. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Comfortable interacting professionally with customers and clients. Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback to help our team grow. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), loading, and unloading plant materials. Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Preferred but not required (training available): Experience driving tractors with trailers. Basic plant knowledge or interest in horticulture. Inventory or warehouse experience. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) a plus!
