ResponsibilitiesCollaboration and Strategy:
  • Work with Systems Engineering tooptimize systems logic and data to develop a solution to provideour customers with accurate shipping estimates for all ourproducts.
  • Work with global teams and category managersresponsible for freight procurement and strategy to alignoperational goals with broader company objectives.
  • Work withglobal teams to secure favorable shipping rates with carriers on aglobal basis.
  • Review billing statements for accuracy and identifyrecurring issues.
  • Implement and support continuous improvementinitiatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Analyze the globalsupply chain footprint and recommend strategies to reduce freightcosts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify andexecute continuous improvement projects, including negotiatingshipping, freight, and logistics contracts with carriers,suppliers, and third-party providers to secure favorable terms andpricing.
  • Evaluate competitive pricing for comparison as part ofthe strategic business objectives and ongoing continuousimprovement.
  • Collaborate with New Product Development andProcurement to identify suitable packaging for new products toachieve optimal ship rates.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitorlogistics performance, prepare reports, and provide insights oncost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Evaluatecarrier options and work with carriers and Systems Engineering toimplement new services.
  • Audit rate pulls with Systems Engineeringto ensure data accuracy.
  • Support PM and Sales with customerinquiries and shipping rate estimates.
  • Provide analytical supportfor various logistics-related projects and requests.
  • Provideproject support for supply chain and packaging procurementinitiatives.
  • Offer insights on package dimension thresholds andcollaborate with QA and Procurement to optimize packaging foroptimal shipping rates.
  • Address and resolve issues related todelays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.
  • Collaboratewith carriers to address service issues and ensure compliance withagreements.
  • Monitor carrier performance using KPIs to identifyareas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Compliance andRegulatory Support:
  • Ensure freight operations comply with local,national, and international transportation regulations.
  • Stayupdated on US Customs regulations and incorporate compliancemeasures into freight processes. Required Skills/Education
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management,logistics, business administration, or related field to area ofresponsibility or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’experience in operations management and transportation managementskills.
  • Working knowledge of shipping regulations domestic andinternationally.
  • Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities,organize, and coordinate work with others.
  • Strong Analytical,teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience presenting tosenior management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, andPowerPoint. Desired Skills

MM/PP/FI

Modules ofSAP preferred.
