Accountable for the planning, prioritizing and managing of the day-day operations of inbound and outbound small package and freight distribution operations and warehouse usage while achieving company accuracy and productivity goals
Establish and manage the corporate logistics budget
Manage shipping/receiving/warehouse personnel and coordinate their activities to support sales operations’ requirements
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by communicating frequently with internal & external customers
Establish, monitor, and ensure KPI’s are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
Implement lean tools
Standardize facility shipping and receiving operations in multiple facilities
Advise other functional areas such as order management, purchasing, and program management on INCOTERMS, as well as domestic and international routing options and costs
Participate on the U.S. and Canadian trade compliance team, and ensure exports are in accordance with company and legal requirements
Oversee large trade show shipping logistics
Manage carriers, forwarders, and customs brokers

Your qualifications
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Advanced coursework or college degree in related field a plus
Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics, transportation, and inventory control with 5 years supervisory experience
Six Sigma, Lean or 5S certified preferred
Experience with advising on US Trade Controls and HTS classification preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred SAP or other ERP experience
Proven leadership ability: demonstrated ability to build, mentor, train, grow, and lead a team
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
