Materials Manager Joblio Fort Mill, SC 29715 Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to lead inventory strategy and materials flow at our Fort Mill, South Carolina facility. Reporting directly to the Global Supply Chain Director , this role plays a critical part in driving cost-effective, agile operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will serve as a key player in our Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, optimize supplier performance, and ensure seamless coordination across production, sales, and logistics teams. This role also supports sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aligned with corporate goals. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Inventory Management Develop and implement inventory strategies to support 98%+ service levels while minimizing carrying costs. Manage dynamic safety stock and supplier lead times (2 weeks production + 4-5 weeks transit/customs). Leverage ERP systems and tools (SAP MM/EWM, Oracle SCM) for real-time inventory visibility. Apply JIT principles, Kanban systems, VMI, ABC analysis, and AI-driven forecasting. Oversee end-to-end inventory control and obsolescence reduction across all locations. 2. Demand Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Sales on forecasting for new product launches and promotions. Lead daily and monthly SIOP processes; align supply planning with production and warehousing. Communicate material constraints and risks proactively to stakeholders. Develop and monitor KPIs such as inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and lead time performance. 3. Global Supplier & Risk Management Support supplier contract negotiations emphasizing lead-time reduction and sustainability. Qualify alternate sources and implement contingency plans for geopolitical/logistical disruptions. Partner with Compliance to mitigate customs, tariffs, and duty risks. 4. Materials Flow Optimization Utilize PFEP methodology and Lean principles to streamline materials handling. Drive warehouse automation initiatives (RFID, automated storage systems). Optimize SKU storage layouts to support JIT delivery and reduce waste. 5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure 98%+ inventory accuracy via audits and cycle counts. Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions. Lead projects in material waste reduction and carbon footprint tracking. 6. Leadership in

Integration Contribute to long-term (18-60 month) business plans aligning inventory strategy with corporate goals. Mentor and develop planners while promoting a data-driven culture. QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field (required). MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain; coursework in sustainability or renewable energy (preferred). 7-10 years in materials/inventory management, with 5+ years in electronics, semiconductor, or automotive manufacturing. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (required). Experience with

implementation, BOM management, and complex assemblies (preferred).
