Job Description
Our client is looking for a Materials Manager who will lead strategic inventory and materials management at their high-volume Fort Mill, SC manufacturing facility, reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director. This role is responsible for optimizing end-to-end materials flow, aligning
SIOP/IBP
processes, and driving collaboration across sales, production, logistics, and global suppliers. The ideal candidate brings expertise in inventory modeling, demand planning, and Lean practices within solar, electronics or automotive environments. Key focus areas include minimizing carrying costs, maintaining 98%+ service levels, implementing digital tools for forecasting and tracking, and advancing sustainability and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep ERP (Coupa, SAPMM or Oracle SCM) knowledge, supplier risk management experience, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
