Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager works under direct supervision to perform Supply Chain planning activities to support Aesthetics operations to ensure supply supports the commercial revenue plan. This includes, but is not limited to, planning, execution, MRP and issuing PO’s, transportation and logistics, inventory management, analyzing data, monitoring, and reporting of results. The goal of this role is to increase the speed and efficiency of supply operations so that revenue goals are met while continuing to provide outstanding, reliable service to customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Management and execution of comprehensive supply planning for various Aesthetic product platforms and ensure supply aligns with Integrated Business Planning goals & objectives. Creates supply strategies by analyzing IBP demand, market research and product trends and identifies potential shortfalls in advance of inventory shortages. Analyze demand patterns, market trends, and supply constraints to ensure optimal inventory allocation and reduce stockouts or excess inventory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, procurement, and logistics, CMO, and 3PL, to ensure, optimize inventory levels, and meet customer demands while minimizing costs and risks. Supports inventory optimization efforts by establishing inventory targets, implementing effective replenishment strategies, and monitoring inventory levels. Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure project/department milestones and goals are met on time and within budget. Develop strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency and productivity. Provides supply chain support as a core team member for new product development and technical transfers of product between CMO’s. Establish meeting cadence with plant production planning and contract manufacturing to ensure inventory volumes meet demand forecasting on time. Closely monitors inventory levels, obsolescence, and short-dated products to ensure stock outs and write-offs are minimized. Negotiates with vendors and monitors purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and corrugate to ensure materials are delivered on time.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics or Business Administration preferred. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or APICS preferred. 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management including: supply & demand planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and logistics /distribution. Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical operations/GMP environment preferred. Demonstrated experience managing strategic suppliers and CMO relationships. Working knowledge of Sales & Operation Planning and/or Integrated Business Planning. Indirect supervisory experience. Supervisory experience with direct reports a plus.
Job Skills:
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to lead team and influence outcomes without authority. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. Proficiency in supply chain planning software and systems (e.g., ERP, demand planning tools, inventory optimization software). Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Power BI, Poer Point primarily PowerPoint & Excel required. Works very closely with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and distribution on supply flow.
