Job Description
Do you have inventory experience? Bring your skillset to the materials department of our client in Lawrenceburg, TN. We are looking for someone to provide the appropriate level of support, training, system maintenance and communication to drive the company’s inventory management process and improve inventory accuracy. Must have an eye for detail. Must have good math skills. Candidates MUST have at least 5 years of experience in the Automotive industry Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and other inventory control/shipping software Good understanding of Lean Application tools (Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Visual Manufacturing, etc) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), a plus salary: $100,000 – $115,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 4

BachelorsResponsibilitiesProvide the appropriate level of support, training, system maintenance and communication to drive the company’s inventory managmement process by coordinating with production, purchasing, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and customer service Responsible for improving inventory accuracy within the channel by investigating discrepancies and performing a root cause analysis. Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs. Support the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.
