Position Description
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading the efficient and accurate receiving, movement, storage, and shipping of material, components, and finished goods within the scope of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Owns the inventory accuracy including the cycle count process
Manage all warehousing activities including hourly and salaried personnel Accountable for receiving, put away, picking, kitting, return to stock, and shipping areas and processes
Implement and maintain SAP Warehouse Management systems to optimize inventory control and warehouse processes.
Identify, design, develop and implement flexible solutions to aid business efficiency, drive process improvements, and add value
Maintain 5S of the warehouse to ensure all parts are stored safely and orderly
Ensure proper labeling of material, racking, containers, and storage locations as required
Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for warehouse processes; utilize KPIs to identify opportunities then develop and execute improvement plans
Establish and review regularly a standard work for all direct reports
Required Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or another technical field is preferred, but is not required.
3 years in a direct management position with multiple direct reports
5 years of combine warehouse and manufacturing experience; must have experience in both warehousing and manufacturing
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
Experience navigating an ERP system is required; proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management is preferred.
Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles with measurable results
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, effective communicator at all organizational levels.
Highly organized, good attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking and following through on tasks to completion.
Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal), able to interact with all stakeholders and act as a professional representative of the corporation.
Eagerness to operate in a dynamic fast paced environment with an ability to problem solve and drive change.
