This role is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, supervising the inventory team, and supporting production readiness through effective materials management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of inventory systems, compliance standards (including USMCA), and continuous improvement strategies aligned with our Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily inventory control operations, ensuring real-time and accurate inventory records. Lead, train, and develop the inventory team in material handling, cycle counts, and inventory documentation. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including FIFO, location management, and transaction integrity. Conduct and oversee regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems. Monitor inventory KPIs such as accuracy rates, shrinkage, turnover, and aging; report and act on findings. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to support material flow and order fulfillment. Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within inventory areas. Support internal and external audits with proper documentation and traceability. Provide timely inventory-related communications to internal departments. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.

Qualifications:

6-8 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or related manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive improvements in efficiency and accuracy. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical & Other Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between office and shop floor settings. Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds using proper techniques.
