Your objective is todevelop short-term and long-term strategic plans for the logisticsfunction and drive continuous improvement through improvedefficiency, cost reduction and improved service delivery whileachieving of all elements of customer scorecard success.

This roleis responsible to:

Develop the vision / roadmap to supportlong-term strategy and future growth of the organization whilemanaging the day-to-day operations of the logistics. Manage alllogistics operation to ensure outstanding supplier relationshipswhile achieving all elements of our customer scorecard and plantKPIs. Collaborate with vendors to develop a robust supply chain andmanage EDI requirements. Manage the procurement of mass productionraw material, balance physical inventory and prevent line shutdown.

Implement best practices related to forecasting and supplyinventory control. Manage warehouse operations including stockmanagement related to shipping, cycle counts, SAP input/managementand warehousing concepts. Develop and report team measurablesdepartmental budgets (expenses, inventory and transportation).Develop, implement and sustain the 5S culture (A3, 8D, 5-Why,Kaizen, etc.). Your Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degreein Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, orrelated discipline, from an accredited four-year college oruniversity. 8-10 years of professional experience in Logistics in amanufacturing environment (strong preference for automotive);material flow experience is strongly preferred. Managementexperience, preferably covering all areas of responsibility forthis position. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solvingskills. Substantial experience in strategic implementation /department optimization. Extensive experience working with MRP andJIT principals Decisive leadership and team facilitation to definetasks clearly, identify and coordinate resources, and execute ago-forward plan. Ability to define goals, metrics, and levels ofsuccess for internal/external customers. SAP proficiency isrequired. APICS Certification (CPIM Designation) desired.
