The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and compliance. This role is essential in managing drivers, optimizing routes, and maintaining high standards of service. Duties Supervise and manage a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations. Coordinate daily route assignments for drivers, optimizing for efficiency and timeliness. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to drivers to enhance their skills and productivity. Ensure all vehicles are maintained in good working condition; perform basic mechanical checks as necessary. Manage logistics for shuttle driving, heavy haul, paratransit services, and other transportation needs. Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, changes in routes, or any issues that may arise during operations. Maintain accurate records of driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience operating pallet jacks and box trucks; familiarity with route driving is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management. Experience in militarized transport or shuttle driving is a plus. Knowledge of heavy haul operations is beneficial.
