Position Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to serve as theProject Manager/Lead on the traffic engineering projects in theState of Ohio.

Primary Responsibilities:

Actively manage and oversee the work of design engineers andengineering technicians. Actively manage and oversee the work of Project / DesignEngineers and Engineering Technicians. Develop scope and fee proposals for various bridge design andrelated transportation projects. Oversee and track project schedules and budgets. Report andestimate Project financials. Assemble design teams and coordinate and assess the activitiesand deliverables of the various subconsultants and disciplinesassociated with the project. Provide Quality control and oversee the preparation of detailedengineering designs of bridge projects. Including plans,specifications, and estimates. Develop and mentor the bridge engineering skillsets of juniorand entry level design engineers. This position requires frequent client interaction, reportpreparation, oral presentations, and proposal development. Participate in industry associations and makepresentations. Crucial to this position is an emphasis on unwaveringprofessionalism with clients, staff and subconsultants.

MinimumRequirements:

BSCE (required) or MSCE (preferred) Active FL PE registration is required. 10 years minimum progressive experience in a combination oftraffic design and project management responsibilities. Preliminary and Final design experience with FDOT projects,specifications, and guidelines required. Demonstrated experience with project related construction phaseservices and shop drawing review. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizationalskills.
