Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Traffic Director is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians at a hospital or medical facility. This includes directing guests, delivery drivers, and emergency transport vehicles to appropriate areas, maintaining safety standards, and providing courteous assistance to visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct incoming traffic to designated parking or drop-off areas. Assist emergency vehicles and medical transport with clear access. Set up and manage traffic control equipment (cones, barricades, signage). Provide directions and information to patients and visitors in a friendly manner. Monitor traffic patterns and report any safety concerns or incidents. Collaborate with hospital security and facilities teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older. Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication and customer service skills. Prior experience in traffic control or a similar role is preferred but not required. Must have valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of experience in a related field. Familiarity with hospital or healthcare environments.

Work Schedule:
