Fleet Manager AWP Site Development 113 West Woodward Avenue, Eustis, FL 32726 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including heavy equipment. Conduct brake repairs, tire services, and diesel engine repairs to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate heavy equipment safely while performing necessary repairs or maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform diagnostic tests to identify problems. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working in the shop or on-site. Skills Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance techniques. Strong knowledge of brake repair, diesel engine repair, tire service, and HVAC systems. Scheduling regular maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring equipment & vehicles are safe and roadworthy. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Understanding the basic equipment/vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed Candidates should have previous relevant experience working in or with a fleet.
