We are currently seeking a Transportation Manager to oversee our dedicated team of Transport Drivers. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the safe, respectful, and timely transportation of individuals between our facility and various service providers. About the Role The Transportation Manager will manage scheduling, monitor performance, and coordinate transportation logistics. The manager will lead a team responsible for ensuring individuals receive safe, compassionate transport to medical appointments, care services, stores, and other essential locations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate driver schedules and transportation routes in collaboration with nursing staff and case managers. Supervise and support transport staff, ensuring professional conduct and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor vehicle maintenance, refueling, and report issues promptly. Oversee safe, respectful transport of persons served and ensure high-quality service during interactions. Act as a liaison between drivers, healthcare professionals, and other departments. Maintain effective communication with nurses, administrators, and other internal teams. Assist with training drivers in professional conduct, emergency procedures, and documentation. Ensure documentation and records (e.g., pick-up/drop-off logs, vehicle inspections) are accurate and up to date. Support the team in delivering care services such as vitals, meals, changing briefs, etc., when needed. Represent Neulife in a professional manner to external medical providers and partners. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting Experience in team management or supervisory roles preferred CPR or BLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic care environment
