Summary MITER Brands is looking for an experienced team member who can support the functions of our Transportation and Logistics / Supply Chain Group. The position will support various departments, not only in Supply Chain, but within EHS, Finance and others. Compensation is dependent on education and experience. MITER is a leading manufacturer of fenestration products in the United States with operations in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, California, and Florida. Responsibilities Manage enterprise-wide vehicle programs, including coordination with providers such as Holman, Enterprise, Ryder, and Penske.
- Prepare reports for tax compliance purposes, including IFTA-related documentation, using data supplied by the 3PL provider.
- Ensure accurate tracking of vehicle mileage and other key metrics across the fleet.
- Support the setup and maintenance of customer delivery parameters within the MITER Brands ERP systems.
- Assist the Finance team with document preparation and information gathering for audits or reporting purposes.
- Administer all vehicle registrations and coordinate with the DMV for renewals, updates, and compliance; monitor MVRs (Motor Vehicle Records) for applicable team members.
- Assist with the oversight of insurance reporting and maintain documentation for accident investigations and related incidents.
- Manage toll and fuel programs for internal sales and service teams as needed
- Act as Power of Attorney (POA) and Notary when required and authorized.
- Serve as a liaison with the legal team to address enterprise-wide insurance and accident-related issues.
- Support Finance with the fixed asset register, including leased road vehicles and material handling equipment. Qualifications
- In-depth product knowledge of
PGT/MITER
offerings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 10 years of experience in transportation or fleet operations.
- Strong familiarity with the PGT/MITER organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to navigate regulatory websites and interpret compliance obligations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Active Notary Public commission and authorized Power of Attorney (POA) responsibilities preferred or ability to obtain.
