Summary As a Route Manager at GFA Sales & Service Inc, you will manage your route using a transit van, to retrieve product from suppliers and deliveries to customers. You will inform purchase team of your customers inventory (at company warehouse) to ensure stock is met for your customer upcoming needs/route. This role will become more independent as knowledge is gained towards supplier and customer. Communication with task manager is essential to ensure customer deliveries are met with high satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage daily route operations to ensure timely deliveries and optimal service. Coordinate with task manager to optimize route efficiency and effectiveness. Receive customer signatures and enter delivery sheet into user friendly system. Enter daily deliveries sheets into user friendly system, the day after deliveries made. Develop good understanding of the customer product needs to ensure deliveries are made to the correct people/locations at best time frames. Conduct weekly inventory of your customers needs and communicate to purchasing team to ensure product restocked for upcoming deliveries. Requirements Good driving record and safe use of GPS before starting driving route. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. Ability to make informed decisions regarding product inventory towards customer product usage. Dependable transportation to and from Austell Ga headquarters. Attentative, Respectful and Compliant to customer’s company policies and safety regulations.
