While adhering to all federal, state, and local authorities in terms of compliance, safety, and maintenance requirements, you will manage the daily dispatch of 20+ drivers over a multi-state region. Ensure accurate and timely delivery while maintaining targeted service levels. Coordinate closely with the Safety & Compliance Manager. This is a hands-on, people focused role that occasionally requires taking driver calls after hours. Reports to the VP of Operations. Key Responsibilities Driver Operations & Dispatch Working with Dispatcher, create and communicate daily route assignments and load details Ensure daily plan maximizes assets including driver time and truck capacity while maintaining efficiency and cost effectiveness Track on-time performance, hours of service, and safety metrics via telematics Serve as first point of contact for driver questions or emergencies, including after hours Maintain regular communication with customers on any service issues and ensure corrective action and follow-up Assist in leading our backhaul program by maximizing all backhaul lane opportunities, hitting backhaul goals and budgets, and ensuring all backhauls are picked up, transferred, and delivered on time. Equipment Maintenance Ensure all equipment is up to date in terms of preventative maintenance, required inspections Manage repair and service provider relationships ensuring equipment availability and sourcing replacement equipment when required Data Entry & Reporting Ensure accurate reporting of all daily metrics including, stops, miles, weight, and hours Distribute daily and weekly operational summaries to senior leadership Manage PTO requests while ensuring reporting to payroll for accurate tracking Regulatory & Compliance Ensure full

compliance on hours of service, drug/alcohol testing, driver qualification files, and corrective action in coordination with Safety Manager. Schedule and track all required safety and refresher training and medical renewals Conduct accident investigations when required Talent Management Recruit, interview, and onboard new drivers in coordination with HR Ensure all new hires are fully trained in terms of job requirements, expectations, and performance Write and conduct performance reviews and manage any performance issues Coach, document, and, when necessary, administer disciplinary actions or terminations Manage PTO, leave requests, and attendance records Securing temporary personnel as needed, reporting hours, and ensuring accurate billing Administer and implement Driver Performance Pay Program Process Improvement Continuous improvement of daytime routes to maximize delivery efficiencies Identify ways to simplify data entry and streamline communication with drivers Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field 5-7 years of dispatch or fleet management experience, preferably in LTL/FTL or dedicated account trucking Familiarity with Samsara or another telematics platform Solid knowledge of DOT hours of service, driver qualification, and safety rules Proven supervisory experience leading professional drivers Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, basic data validation, pivot tables) Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable handling off hours calls Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required) Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multistate routes Working knowledge of pivot tables and/or power query Lean / Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement training Master’s/MBA Work Schedule & Environment Core hours: Monday-Friday, ~8 AM-5 PM, with flexibility for early dispatches or late deliveries On call expectation for after-hours driver issues Primarily office based in Braselton with the option to work from home on occasion Occasional ride-alongs and terminal visits as needed
