Alexandria, LA 71301 Transportation Manager 1 Crown Health Care Laundry Services is the industry leader in the Southeast United States with locations in Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama. Due to tremendous growth, we are opening a new depot this fall in Lakeland, FL. We are seeking an experienced Transportation Route Manager to create and manage an exceptional route service team. Although the plant does not open until fall, we wish to make this hire immediately to give the manager time to hire and train an exceptional team to service our customers.

Essential duties include:

Managing the Route Staff, and daily route operations
Managing vehicle maintenance to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Ensuring proper route driver training and hours of service management
Working collaboratively with Operations to maximize timely customer service Our route driver’s return home daily, and the TRM must: Be a hands on manager
Have a strong track record of leadership
Possess strong knowledge of safe driving, DOT and customer service
Have keen acumen relating to safety and quality
Have Class A CDL Preferred candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience in DOT operations, prior experience supervising or managing drivers, a good working knowledge of DOT requirements and regulations, and good computer skills and The ideal candidate will understand the urgency and hands on nature of the laundry industry.
