Job Description:

This position is the Bureau of Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Transportation Resource Manager, which will be responsible for overseeing and providing leadership and guidance to a management team that ensures the delivery of MaineDOT M&O Statewide Pavement Marking program, Sign Manufacturing and Statewide Interstate Sign Crew operations, Statewide Snow and Ice Control Support group, as well as the Department MATS business manager responsible for oversite of all areas of MATS including payroll processing, Free2000 and M5 integration, and providing guidance to field personnel through Data Management group. This position will work closely with Human Resources managing recruitment, hiring, performance management, investigations, disciplines, dismissals, coaching and support of assigned employees, and with Finance and Administration and Contracting groups to manage the federally funded Striping budget, file force account report, contractor payments and payments for goods and services. Work is performed under limited supervision. To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience: A ten (10) year combination of education, training and/or experience in maintenance, construction, fleet management, safety and budget to include at least four (4) years of managerial experience.
