As we grow our operations, we are seeking a highly capable and experienced Fleet Manager to lead our roadside assistance team and ensure the efficiency, safety, and readiness of our vehicle fleet. Job Summary The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our roadside assistance fleet, managing drivers, maintaining vehicles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing systems that maximize response times and member satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the daily dispatch and scheduling of roadside assistance vehicles and personnel. Supervise and support a team of drivers/technicians to ensure prompt and professional service delivery. Monitor vehicle performance and ensure routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and cleanliness of all fleet vehicles. Maintain records for compliance with DOT, state, and company safety regulations. Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement in cost-efficiency, utilization, and service delivery. Collaborate with operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless support for members in need. Manage fuel usage, vehicle inventory, and vendor relationships for maintenance and repairs. Train and onboard new drivers and oversee safety protocols. Ensure 24/7 fleet availability and readiness, including for high-demand or emergency scenarios. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, roadside assistance, towing, or logistics. Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance schedules, and safety compliance. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required). Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with rotating on-call availability. Strong understanding of customer service principles and emergency response protocols. Preferred Qualifications ASE Certification or technical automotive background. Prior experience in towing or emergency vehicle operations. Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatch platforms. Why Join Us?
