About Position:

The primary responsibility of the Transportation Manager is plan, organize, and implement transportation services of the Adult Day Health Center serving frail seniors.

  • 5:00 pm (Subject to vary depending on need of department)

Yes Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Plans and coordinates all schedule transportation for PHSC participants.

Responsible for coordination of all outside service providers of transportation. Serves as a member of the PACE interdisciplinary team Conducts transportation assessments for new enrollees and reassessments according to the care plan’s schedule. Serves as backup driver on PHSC vehicles (vans and cars). Supervises drivers. Provides initial and ongoing training of drivers per the transportation training and safety manual. Reviews and verifies all bills for services provided by outside contractors. Assures all necessary program records are maintained according to policy. Ensures adherence to transportation policies and procedures. Oversees vehicle maintenance, repairs and purchasing. Qualifications•

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Preference for supervisory experience in transportation services.

Required:

At least 3 years management experience required, and 1 year experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs.

Preferred:

One year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred.

Current/valid License:

Valid NC Driver’s License and safe driving record. Upon employment, defensive driving course, first aide and CPR are required.

Immunizations:

Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment. Pay Range
