Transportation Operations Executive Location:

San Antonio, TX Compensation:

$150,000-$250,000 Annually + Bonus + Full Benefits Are you a high-impact leader in trucking and logistics, ready to take full ownership of transportation operations across multiple locations? We are actively seeking a Transportation Operations Executive to lead our multi-site trucking division. This is a senior leadership role focused on optimizing daily operations, managing high-performance teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving long-term strategic growth. You’ll collaborate with executive leadership to execute vision, improve KPIs, and ensure customer satisfaction through operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop transportation managers and front-line leaders across multiple terminals. Oversee all trucking operations—including fleet management, route planning, driver scheduling, and performance tracking. Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards across all operational activities. Own P&L performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance operational efficiency. Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends, optimize logistics workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and finance to drive customer satisfaction and service quality. Partner with executive leadership to scale operations, integrate technology, and support long-term business growth.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a Transportation or Trucking Operations Executive , with 5-10+ years of leadership in asset-based operations. Demonstrated success managing multi-site operations, fleet logistics , and large, distributed teams. Deep understanding of DOT regulations , safety protocols, and compliance frameworks. Strong financial acumen with experience owning budgets, managing P&Ls, and executing cost-control initiatives. Change leader with excellent communication, strategic thinking, and team development capabilities.
