Transportation Terminal Manager Confidential Hackensack, NJ 07601 Job description Established national company is seeking a dedicated, well organized, and driven individual to fill our opening for Transportation Terminal Manager in the Hackensack, NJ vicinity. This is an ON-SITE job, not at all Work from Home.
Job Summary:
Job responsibilities include the effective and successful management of a staff of 5-10 contractors and employees. You MUST be computer literate and have experience working with Yard Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suites and mobile applications. You will be responsible for receiving and scheduling deliveries of vehicles as well as the care and maintenance of those vehicles. You will also manage the storage, maintenance and servicing (wash, oil changes, etc.) of ± 1000 vehicles per month. You will see to it that the delivery of vehicles to our clients operates flawlessly. You must at least 21 (insurance requirement) and have a valid driver’s license. You will also be required to pass a drug, background and Motor Vehicle Record check.
RESPONSIBILITIES ALSO INCLUDE
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions Train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees Learn operations systems for handling vehicle check-in, storage, maintenance and check-out (deliveries) Enforce and evaluate policies and procedures Manage relationships with key operations partners Serve as the primary point of contact for the location High School Diploma Required
