The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient delivery processes. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule transportation for shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods to distribution centers and various customers Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage logistics effectively. Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation. Analyze transportation costs and seek opportunities for optimization. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the transportation process. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper loading and unloading of shipments and entering all data into WIS Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders. Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during transportation operations. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation. Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices is a plus.
