Leesport, PA /n
Compensation:
$65,000
- $70,000 annually /n Are you an experiencedleader passionate about managing teams in the fast-pacedtransportation industry?
We’re looking for a Transportation DriverManager to lead and support our drivers while ensuring operationalexcellence and adherence to our Core and Growth Values. /n /n Whatyou’ll do? /n
Driver Oversight:
Set clear expectations for assigneddrivers regarding safety, performance, and compliance with companypolicies and industry regulations. /n
Safety First:
Foster asafety-driven culture by monitoring compliance with DOT regulationsand company safety standards. /n
Performance Monitoring:
Trackdriver metrics such as on-time performance, fuel efficiency, hoursof service (HOS), and compliance with routing and schedulingrequirements. /n
Communication & Coaching:
Maintain open lines ofcommunication with drivers, explaining the “why” behind companypolicies and decisions to promote understanding and alignment. /n
Problem-Solving:
Quickly and effectively resolve driver issues,including routing, load assignments, and equipment concerns. /n
Team Environment:
Build a respectful, collaborative team atmospherewhere drivers feel supported and empowered to make sound decisions./n
Operational Excellence:
Create a sense of urgency within theteam to meet delivery timelines, address customer concerns, andhandle operational issues promptly. /n
Compliance & Documentation:
Monitor driver performance and provide documentation, coaching, orcorrective action as necessary. /n /n What do you need? /n Previousexperience in transportation management, dispatching, or a similarleadership role in the logistics industry. /n Strong knowledge ofDOT regulations, hours of service (HOS), and safety requirements./n Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritizetasks in a fast-paced environment. /n Proficiency in transportationmanagement systems (TMS) and other industry-specific tools. /nExcellent communication and leadership skills to engage andmotivate drivers. /n A proactive, solution-oriented mindset tonavigate challenges in transportation operations. /n /n Who We Are/n At Ashley, we’re more than a business…we’re family.
