The Route Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the service routes for Aquatica Pools and Spas. This role involves leading a team of service technicians, ensuring high-quality pool maintenance and customer service, and optimizing route efficiency. Objectives:
Supervise and support service technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality pool maintenance and repairs. Develop and optimize service routes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices. Provide hands-on troubleshooting assistance for complex pool system issues, including equipment malfunctions, automation, and water chemistry. Serve as the main point of contact for escalated customer concerns, ensuring prompt and professional resolution. Train and mentor service technicians, reinforcing best practices and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of service schedules, equipment maintenance, and customer interactions. Monitor and manage inventory for service vehicles, ensuring technicians have necessary supplies and tools. Collaborate with the service manager to improve operational workflows and service quality.
Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach and develop technicians. In-depth knowledge of pool maintenance, equipment, automation systems, and water chemistry. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced field environment. Strong organizational and logistical planning skills. Effective communication and customer service skills to handle client interactions and concerns. Proficiency in scheduling software and route optimization tools is a plus.
Preferred certifications:
CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to pool service. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Visual and auditory ability to assess equipment performance and maintain accurate documentation. Commitment to
