Self Storage Manager IronGate Storage Solutions, LLC 460 Seven Farms Dr, Daniel Island, SC 29492 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Self Storage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our storage facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations of the self-storage facility, including renting out storage units, managing customer service and associated software systems, ensuring the facility is clean and secure, collecting payments, handling maintenance issues, monitoring security systems, and promoting the facility through sales and marketing efforts, all while maintaining accurate records and managing the facility’s budget and finances.

Key responsibilities:

Customer service: Interacting with potential and current customers, providing information about storage unit options, processing rentals, collecting payments, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues.

Sales and marketing:

Promoting the storage facility through local advertising, online platforms, and outreach to potential customers, offering promotional deals when necessary.

Facility management:

Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of storage units, performing minor repairs, monitoring security systems, conducting regular inspections of the property.

Administrative tasks:

Keeping detailed records of unit rentals, customer information, payment history, managing inventory of packing supplies, preparing reports on occupancy and revenue.

Security:

Ensuring the facility is secure by monitoring access controls, responding to security breaches, and maintaining proper security protocols.

Financial management:

Tracking facility expenses, managing the budget, collecting outstanding payments, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Required skills:

Self-Starter with an Entrepreneurial spirit

MUST HAVE PRIOR SELF STORAGE EXPERIENCE
