Terminal Manager Trucks On Demand Charleston, SC 29413 We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations/Terminal Manager to lead our transportation operations. In this crucial leadership role, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable management of our daily trucking operations, assets, and personnel. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all daily operations accountabilities, including supervising drivers, logistics staff, clerical teams, and enforcing company policies/procedures Optimize utilization of company assets including technology, Class A drivers, tractors, and trailers to maximize productivity Train and develop direct reports on responsibilities, safety protocols, DOT regulations, and operational execution to meet service/financial goals Utilize transportation management systems to analyze freight movements and optimize routes Maintain accurate data entry and documentation for all terminal activities Ensure all driver hours, load completions, and compensation details are accurately recorded Collaborate with team to enhance overall transportation planning Serve as primary customer contact, establishing and maintaining strong client relationships Qualifications 3+ years in trucking dispatch, terminal management, or logistics operations Proficiency in transportation management systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations Proven ability to manage a team, solve problems, and drive operational efficiency
