Based on experience As a Driver Manager expectations are: Directing and overseeing transportation-related operations such as managing staff that assists with transportation activities such as dispatching, routing, and tracking. Ensure staff members comply with safety rules and regulations. Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of vehicles. Planning, organizing, and managing subordinate staff members to ensure work is completed and consistent with the company’s standards. Directing investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints. Promoting safe work activities by conducting safety audits, and attending company safety meetings. Position Requirements Professional written and oral communication skills Good problem-solving capabilities and goal oriented Relevant customer service is a plus; must have “thick skin” in order to be successful in this position Be punctual and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment Must be able to problem solve, strong phone presence. Must be able to rotate on call
