Other requirements include:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Computer literacy, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products; Valid, Tennessee CDL with Class B endorsement; Strong committment to safety; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with others in a team setting; Ability to train, coach, and provide leadership; and Ability to teach/demonstrate skills in driving and operating a school bus. The successful candidate will assist the Transportation Supervisor with the day to day operations of the Transportation Department, acting as a representative of the department when working with drivers, attendants, school administrators, parents, and students (student discipline). Salary will be determined by documented, comparable work experience and placement on Grade 8 of the Salaried Classified Salary Schedule.
