Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Insulation Crew Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for leading insulation crews on job sites, installing and removing insulation, and ensuring all equipment and vehicles are maintained and organized. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work alongside the team in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive company trucks and trailers to and from job sites. Lead a team of installers on residential and/or commercial insulation projects. Actively participate in the installation and removal of various types of insulation, including blown-in, batt, and spray foam. Guide and train crew members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, trucks, and trailers. Conduct pre-job and post-job inspections to ensure quality control. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used safely. Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus but not required). Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Must pass a background check.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Opportunities for overtime and advancement. Pay raise after 90 day trial period.
