Landscaping Crew Leader J & J Lawn Care, LLC Riverside, CT 06878 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. This role is essential in overseeing landscaping projects and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for landscape maintenance, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in garden care and groundskeeping. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members in various tasks including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and planting . Plan and execute landscaping projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines. Train crew members on proper techniques for maintaining gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, providing feedback and guidance as necessary. Maintain equipment and tools used in landscaping operations, ensuring they are in good working condition. This is very important! Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide updates on project progress. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all landscaping activities. Experience Proven experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or related fields is required. Demonstrated ability to supervise a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, tree care techniques, and garden maintenance strategies. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members towards achieving project goals. Previous experience in building or maintaining landscapes is a plus.
