Landscape Crew Leader Cutters Edge Total Landscape Solutions Davie, FL 33317 Cutters Edge is searching for is searching for a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team in Davie, Florida. Our Crew Leader supervises, and works alongside, a team of crew members, delivering exceptional landscape maintenance services to commercial clients. This is a full-time (Mon-Fri) career-growth opportunity for motivated individuals ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily landscape maintenance operations including mowing, mulching, pruning, planting, fertilization, weed control, leaf clean-ups, irrigation repairs, and licensed arbor care (a plus). Supervise, train, and evaluate crew members in maintenance methods, equipment operation, and safe work practices. Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring complete satisfaction through site visits and regular updates. Recognize and report site deficiencies and potential liabilities to the Production and/or Account Manager. Prepare and organize tools, materials, and vehicles daily; ensure equipment is properly maintained. Maintain accurate administrative reports such as inspections, equipment inventories, accident reports, and quality control forms. Promote a safe and professional work environment by enforcing company policies, maintaining clean vehicles and trailers, and ensuring proper crew appearance.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance experience (commercial properties preferred) required Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening Ability to communicate effectively in English (Bilingual in Spanish or Creole a plus). Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift 75 lbs., work in extreme weather, and operate landscaping equipment and lifts.

Tech-savvy:

Able to operate a smartphone, email, and take digital photos. Special licenses such as CDL, Pesticide Applicator License, Tree Trimming License, or ISA Arborist Certification are a plus.

Work Environment:

Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including high heat and direct sunlight. Near traffic and natural bodies of water as required by project sites. Physical work involving bending, lifting, stooping, and carrying heavy loads throughout the day.
