It is the oldest privately held corporation in Florida and Anheuser-Busch’s oldest continuous distributor. Our territory is Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin and Gulf Counties in Florida.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate activities of the drivers ensuring employees are driving safely, following safe driving policies, and properly servicing of each account. Track and monitor driver productivity and safety standards. Assign daily driver schedules. Coordinate with router on delivery sequence of trucks, as needed. Ensure all routes are run as scheduled. Train drivers on all aspects of job including commercial driving, Lewis Bear Company policies and procedures, merchandising, and delivering. Check accounts for proper product rotation and merchandising. Check assigned equipment for cleanliness and ensure maintenance of vehicles. Complete all accident reports upon occurrence. All other assigned duties.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILTIES
Directly supervise department employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with The Lewis Bear Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have thorough knowledge of State and Federal Beverage Laws as well as
FMCSA DOT
Rules and Regulations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
Commercial Driver’s License – Class A with seven (7) points or less State of Florida Driver’s License – preferred Current Department of Transportation Physical Card Negative pre-employment DOT drug screen
