Construction Manager Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crew Lead to oversee and manage on-site rehab crews during residential and commercial renovation projects. The Crew Lead is responsible for supervising daily work activities, ensuring job site safety, maintaining quality standards, coordinating materials and labor, and acting as the liaison between field workers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate daily operations of the rehab crew, ensuring efficient and timely execution of work. Interpret and implement job scopes, construction drawings, and specifications. Supervise and assist with tasks such as framing, drywall, flooring, painting, cabinetry, and other general construction work. Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and code standards.

Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to the project manager. Monitor crew productivity, attendance, and compliance with site rules and safety policies. Coordinate material deliveries, inventory, and proper use of equipment and tools. Conduct daily site walk-throughs and punch list reviews. Identify potential issues and resolve them on-site or escalate appropriately.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on construction experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong understanding of residential/commercial rehab processes and multiple construction trades. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and technical documents. Skilled in managing crews of 2-6 workers effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a smartphone for job updates and documentation (photos, notes, timesheets).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in occupied property rehab. OSHA 10 or 30 Certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Familiarity with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management software.
