Production Crew Lead 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Okahumpka, FL 34762 Our client, an international construction company, is looking for a Production Crew Lead to join their growing team. Our client is a major supplier in its respective industry and is expanding rapidly throughout Central Florida.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$23/hr

Position Overview:

The Production Crew Lead Reporting to the production supervisor, the crew lead will be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. Oversee the production process from the material stage to the final completion and shipping stage. Responsibilities of the

Production Crew Lead:

The Production Crew Lead will be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. Supervise the entire team of production workers and work on continuous improvement and motivation of the Production team. Direct interactions with 12 – 15 employees on issues related to production goals, product quality, and completion of activities efficiently and safely. Has the ability and authority to make decisions with direct financial impact. Assist the Production Supervisor in ensuring optimum usage of available resources and technology to constantly obtain better results. Ensure that products are produced on time and maintain strict quality standards. Required Experience/Skills for the

Production Crew Lead:

Prior experience with just-in-time manufacturing. Ability to create and follow schedules. Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices are required. Preferred Experience/Skills for the

Production Crew Lead:

Experience in a supervisory capacity. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma is required. College degree is preferred or 4+ years of manufacturing plant experience.
