Landscape Crew Lead Neptune Nursery 5164 SW Citrus Boulevard, Palm City, FL 34990 A nursery in Palm City is looking to hire an experienced Lead Landscape Crew who will be in charged of installing sod and landscape projects.
Responsibilities:
Install sod, plants, trees, palms, and safely operate machinery/equipment/company vehicles. Required to operate equipment such as, but is not limited to: utility vehicles; string trimmers; hand and push blowers; edger; spreaders; hand sprayers; weed eaters; mowers; and other equipment. Equipment operation; flower bed maintenance; light janitorial duties; picking up debris; landscape and grounds tasks such as: weeding; raking; mulching; shoveling and digging; trimming.
Requirements:
An Operator should possess the basic knowledge and ability to safely operate equipment, use various hand tools, and perform duties pertaining to a typical landscape operation. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. on a consistent basis. The Crew Leader will also be required to supervise 2-4 employees. A valid drivers license is required for this position (must be clean with no issues).
