FLEET DISPATCHER

(Roll-Off & Waste Recycling Hauling) Dynamic Waste Systems, Inc. 21 Clark Street, North Andover, MA 01845 Dynamic Waste Systems, Inc. is growing and has an immediate opening for an experienced Dispatcher with driver management skills to join our dispatching staff. The Dispatcher is the key at the very center of a fast-paced team environment, accountable to plan, strategize, and deliver results by directing and utilizing the fleet of waste hauling trucks, containers, and drivers. Our customer’s service requirements and Dynamic’s commitment to customer service require individuals who possess superior critical thinking skills, the ability to create solutions that exceed customer expectations and meet company objectives, and can effectively manage their workloads through solid tactical planning while quickly adapting to a dynamic environment. This position also requires impeccable oral and written communicative skills, the ability to demonstrate leadership and work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

The Dispatcher will manage asset utilization and drivers to ensure high delivery of customer service and fleet productivity. Dispatch responsibilities include coaching and mentoring drivers with all training and administrative items. Responsibilities are, but not limited to: Management of over 40 power units (Roll-Off’s, Front End Loaders, Tractors, Transfer Trailers & Walking Floors, Open Top Containers, Compactors, etc) Knowledge and application of all

regulations and guidance regarding safety and driver responsibilities Handling prioritizing and urgent customer service situations in a timely and professional manner while maintaining your poise Tracking drivers, pending and completed work orders, loads and schedules to increase driver productivity and customer service results Effectively manage safety results by enforcing our safety program Planning future workload, driver schedules, truck schedules and container availability with an emphasis on success and high driver productivity Other duties and responsibilities as required

DISPATCH EXPERIENCE WITH COMMERCIAL VEHICLE FLEET

(fleet size: 12 Vehicles or greater)•The ideal candidate is a professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills Dispatch or logistics experience is preferred Previous Roll-Off, Waste Industry or CDL Driving experience a plus Strong coaching and mentoring skills Strong organization and planning skills as they pertain to daily trip planning and schedules Average computer skills with ability to type, and utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or email Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced, high stress environment CDL License and DOT Medical Card, driving experience are a plus Team player

Schedule:

10 hour shift 12 hour shift Overtime Weekends as needed Application Question(s): Do you have experience dispatching a fleet of 6 commercial vehicles or more? if so please provide details. The position will require start times which may vary from time to time, which include starting at 3:00AM and working a 10 hours shift, and also starting at 8:00AM and working a 10 hour shift or until close. Are you fully capable of performing both shifts as required? As a dispatcher in the fleet, a CDL is not required, but please tell us if you have a CDL A or CDL B and any commercial truck driving experience. Also, please provide details on any experience if you have worked previously in the waste or recycling industry. Are you able to proficiently use a computer including proficient operation of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook? Are you able to be scheduled for work shifts on Saturdays, or alternating Saturdays as needed? If Saturdays are not an option for you, please provide details.
