Upto 80% as required by project location Position Overview We areseeking a Crossbore Tech/Utility Locator
- Lead to join our fieldoperations team in Canonsburg, PA. This is a hands-on,leadership-focused role responsible for ensuring accurate detectionof cross bored wastewater lines and supporting safe, efficienton-site operations. This role is ideal for someone with leadershipexperience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage fieldconditions and support team training. Key Responsibilities
- Detectcross bored sewer lines and collect data using
ESRI GPS
fieldsoftware.
- Assist in establishing safe work zones, includingproper placement of cones, signage, and barriers.
- Prepare andmaintain CCTV robotic equipment under operator guidance.
- Dispatchtractor units securely into pipes using cranes or manual riggingtools.
- Mark utility locations using paint and fieldidentification protocols.
- Lead by example and help train crewmembers in safety, equipment use, and field processes.
- Maintainsite safety and ensure compliance with all company and industrystandards. Qualifications
- Proven leadership or trainingexperience in field-based utility or construction environments.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Able to pass acomprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification andConfined Space Training Certification.
- Comfortable working inconfined spaces, on rugged terrain, and in various weatherconditions.
- Physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 75 lbsand walking long distances outdoors.
- Willing and able to travelup to 80% of the time, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation and a strong sense ofaccountability.
- Basic proficiency with GPS and field reportingtools.
- Ability to operate or assist with ATV equipment in remoteor off-road environments.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
